The nomenclature and lectotypification of the name Actinidia kolomikta (Maxim.) Maxim. are discussed. correct authorship date publication its basionym is specified, namely Prunus Maxim., 27 XI 1856. currently known original material (≡ kolomikta) represented by 5 specimens all stored in Herbarium Komarov Botanical Institute, St. Petersburg, Russia (LE). specimen LE 01081775 designated here as lectotype kolomikta, duplicate 01081774 being cited an isolectotype. indication “holotype” “isotypes” Tropicos database available on Internet shown to be erroneous.
